Our Core Values

Intimacy with God

One of our deepest core values is the emphasis that we place upon the presence of God. Without His presence in our ministry, we would cease to have a ministry. We do not want to be guilty of “having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof” that exists in religion devoid of relationship.

We believe that our first and primary ministry as believers is to “love the Lord [our] God with all of our heart, mind, and strength” and that our second ministry is to “love our neighbors as ourselves.” We believe this to be the key to sustaining the culture of the Kingdom in our midst.

We believe that the great commission is also the call to take up our cross and follow him. We believe in the call to lay down our lives for Him and we are not afraid of suffering for the gospel. However, we also believe that God has given authority to believers to speak the word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit and receive their deliverance.

We believe that there is a time to stand as Stephen did and give our lives for the Gospel, and there are also times for supernatural protection and deliverance. We believe that this lifestyle is a choice granted to believers and that we are called to live a life worthy of our callings. We believe that there is a time appointed by God for believers to suffer to the point of death and that we should not love our lives so much as to shrink from death.

We believe that the call to follow Christ is a call to die to ourselves and place our lives in His hands. We believe that Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, because He commissioned believers to go into all the nations and preach His gospel, His commission to us also comes with the authority to act in His name. Because of this, we can fearlessly go into the darkest and most violent places on earth using the authority He has given us to establish His kingdom.

Our faith is founded firmly on God’s provision. We will not hold to strategies that utilize worldly wisdom to try to bring about the work of the kingdom; nor do we hold to doctrines that prostitute the promises of God for the gaining of material possessions.

We believe that the provision of God will come when we are committed to His vision for the harvest.

We believe that revival is found among the unreached and the poor. Therefore, our focus should always remain on pioneering work among the unreached. We believe that God is calling the church to finish the work of the great commission with excellence and zeal.

One of the main core values of our ministry is the goodness of God. We believe that all theology is summed up in the life and ministry of Jesus. If we can see it in the life of Jesus, then we can know it is the will of God. Conversely, if we do not see it in His life, we can know it is not from God.

We firmly believe the words of Jesus that “the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come to bring life and life more abundant.” Therefore, we can know with certainty what the will of God is in regard to healing and deliverance.

We believe that suffering is inevitable for the Christian. However, we do not hold to the teaching of some that teach that God inflicts evil on His children. We believe that the suffering Jesus calls us to, is to feel the same pain that He feels for the lost and broken. To “weep with those who weep and mourn with those who mourn.”

We believe that Biblical suffering is to see things as He sees them. We hold to the words of Paul which state that we are to “give thanks in all things”. This gives us the ability to have supernatural joy in every circumstance. Whether in trial and tribulation or in abundance, we believe in a supernatural joy that comes directly from the Holy Spirit. We believe that this joy is for those serving Him and for those who are willing to suffer for His name.

We believe that the most important characteristic a believer can display is love. As the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13,

'Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am as sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. And though I give all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love wants not its own will, it is not puffed up, does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails: but whether there are prophecies, they shall fail; whether there are tongues, they shall cease; whether there is knowledge, it too shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then [I shall see] face to face: now I know in part; but then I shall I know even as I am also known. And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.'

We believe that love looks like something and that it is far more than a feeling, it involves action. However, action without Holy Spirit-inspired love is dead. Therefore, our ministry should always be motivated by love. First and foremost for our God, and then for the people we are ministering to.
