Who is Jesus?
Do you know that feeling?
The one that tells you that what you see, can't be all that there is. The one that says something is missing. The one that tells you there is more; more for your life, more for your heart. The feeling that tells you that there is a piece of the puzzle missing, a longing for something deeper, something that words can't describe, and no matter what you try, nothing quite fits?
MADE TO BE LOVED
You were made to be loved, made to know a perfect father in heaven who created you to be part of His heavenly plan. Nothing on this Earth can fill that space inside of you that is designed for Him.
WHAT NOW?
Have you heard about the invitation? It's the greatest invitation that has ever been given, where the past is forgiven and forgotten, and the future has been paid for at the highest of prices. An invitation, not to be part of a religion, quenched by rules and tradition, but to be part of a living and loving family, held together in the arms of a father.
God loves you; He knows you and He wants to be part of your life. There is nothing that you can ever do or say to change that. He gave everything to make a way for you to be close to Him. We are all aware that the world we live in is not perfect, we've all struggled with loss and problems in our lives, things that He never meant for us to experience. But even after these things came into the world, He fought to make a way for us to be close to Him again.
Our God is a God of truth and justice. All of the crime and hate, greed, and aggression needed to be paid for, and we should have been the ones to do it. But instead, He took it for us, as a loving parent laying down His life for His children, He paid the price Himself. God the Father sent His only son who gave up His life. He was tortured and crucified, beaten, and killed in our place so that we could be free to run home to our heavenly father.
How?
Jesus died on the cross so that we could be forgiven.
His actions set us free, not only from our sins, but Jesus defeated death itself when He rose back to life three days after they killed him. Because of this, death has no power over us and eternal life with God is now possible!
The Bible says in John 3:16, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life.
To receive this amazing gift, this perfect invitation, you need to believe in Jesus as God's son and this expression of love that He did for you. If you are ready to accept Jesus into your life, you can begin by praying the prayer below, telling Him the things that you have done wrong, asking Him to forgive you and to come and live in your heart, in the place that is waiting just for Him.
Prayer
Dear Father God, I am sorry for (tell him what you are sorry for here), Please will you forgive me? I want to accept the invitation to be part of your family, please come and live in my heart and fill me with your love and your presence. I want to know you more, please teach me how to live my life for you. Amen
